Strong Work Renovations LLC is a family-owned and operated Colorado remodeling company. Our partnership was officially incorporated in 2017 after living and working in the Boulder County area for 3 years. Our experience working for other local Contractors led us to branch out on
our own so that we could pursue a higher level of integrity in remodeling.
We are licensed by the International Code Council & local municipalities in and around NW Metro Denver. We are a Class B Building contractor which permits us to work in Multi-family and Single Family homes as well as small commercial spaces.
As active members of the National Tile Contractors Association and the National Association of Women in Construction, you can be sure that every project we work on will meet or exceed current industry standards as set forth by the American National Standards Institute and the Tile Council of North America.
In addition to our continued commitment to training and 
education, we work closely with the manufacturers whose products we use in our installations. By attending workshops and training events we stay up-to-date on developments as well as stay in touch with our product representatives. Maintaining quality standards is our top priority, which is why every project we accept will be overseen by and handled directly by at least one company owner.
Meet the Partners
Dawn Davis (formerly Dawn Suiter) – Tile Installation, Project Management & Design, Lead Estimator, Business Manager
Dawn’s participation in the construction industry goes back to childhood as her Dad’s “favorite” assistant. Learning to measure and cut lumber, and climb ladders while hauling materials, laid the foundation for a future career in the industry. After High School, an interest in Computer Technology led quite naturally to a career in design & web development. That foundation allowed the development of a 20+ year-long career in advertising, marketing, and designing business start-up packages for the Attractions/Tourism & Artisanal Products markets. Craving the physical demands of working in the field and away from the desk chair, she blended her existing career skills with the art of tile installation, to form Strong Work Renovations with her daughter and long-time friend Jake.
Jake Davis – Class B Building Contractor, Engineering, Framing, Plumbing, Electrical, General Repairs
Jake received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and exercises his passions for math & engineering daily at work. After graduating and working for many years as a truss engineer & building project manager, he quickly realized that being behind a desk and computer did not ignite his passion for life. Inspired to be more physical and hands-on at work, Jake pursued an option to move to Colorado to work with his uncle and to shift into home construction and remodeling. Jake’s focus is on the technical aspects of our renovations but you’ll find that he dabbles in the art of the finishing work as well.
Lex Suiter – Tile Installation, Painting & Finishing, HR & Bookkeeping
Lex gained her first experiences with home improvement as a child growing up on a single-acre homestead that was always expanding. After High School, Lex pursued her interest in travel as well as the service industry and found that bartending & event organization were both exciting and made the most of her natural leadership skills. At the encouragement of her Mom, she began to learn the art of tile installation and interior finishing; trim carpentry, painting, and flooring. Her natural eye for detail enabled her to advance very quickly to solo tile installations and leading project punch lists & finishing days.
